Perinatal loss: dealing with grief

Fertility loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death - perinatal loss can have a profound effect on our mental health as we grieve and mourn. Explore evidence-based information on the impact of grief as well as  having the opportunity to process your experience with other mums with shared stories.

Making Mama Village: perinatal loss

This workshop will be facilitated by Clinical Social Worker Karen O'Mara whose background in social work extends beyond 25 years and has focused on working with mothers, including working in the intensive care units for maternal and children's hospitals, working primarily in the areas of support and bereavement. 

Making Mama Village: fertility loss

Workshops are held face-to-face in Coorparoo. You are welcome to bring your baby or toddler.

Workshop includes:

  • tea/coffee and morning tea on arrival
  • 3 hour workshop
  • workbook
